1. Provider and acceptance
The service is provided by an individual seller operating under the MC Lab brand (“MC Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the service or purchasing a credit pack, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. Contact us at hello@mclab.party.
2. The service
MC Lab provides automated software that reads publicly accessible ecommerce product information, checks technical and content consistency, runs a controlled AI shopping observation and produces an evidence-backed diagnostic report. The service is organized as Test → Diagnose → Fix → Retest.
A completed diagnostic covers one submitted product and the configured test conditions. The output may identify a failure point and a prioritized change, but implementation, ongoing monitoring and human consulting are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
3. Your submissions and authority
You may submit only product pages that you own, operate, represent, or are otherwise authorized to evaluate. You must not use the service to obtain unauthorized access, submit unlawful material, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, disrupt the service, or test systems in a deceptive or abusive manner.
You retain rights in information you supply. You give MC Lab the limited permission necessary to collect the submitted public page, process your configuration, operate the diagnostic and provide the report.
4. Recorded observations, not guarantees
AI shopping systems, search indexes, websites and outside sources change over time. A report records one test under stated model, search, market and session conditions. It is not a stable ranking, audit certification or guarantee of retrieval, candidate-set inclusion, recommendation, citation, traffic, sales or revenue. You remain responsible for business, legal and technical decisions made using a report.
5. Credits, completion and access
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits are for use with this software, are non-transferable and have no cash value. The credits required for a diagnostic are shown before it starts. Credits are consumed only after the complete workflow finishes. If a workflow stops before completion because of a system or upstream-provider failure, its reserved credits are returned to the account ledger automatically.
Purchased credits do not expire and are associated with the email used at Paddle checkout. The service also uses a secure browser session for access. If you change browsers or lose the session, you may request a time-limited, single-use access link at that checkout email to restore your credit balance and report history.
6. Payments and taxes
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Paddle may collect billing information, calculate taxes, issue receipts and provide buyer support under its own terms. Prices, included credits and any bonus credits are shown before checkout. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
7. Third-party systems
The service depends on Cloudflare infrastructure, Paddle billing, OpenRouter model routing, AI model providers, search tools, Shopify stores and public websites. Their availability and outputs may change. We may replace a model or provider while preserving the stated diagnostic protocol, or stop a task and return its reserved credits when a reliable result cannot be completed.
8. Intellectual property
MC Lab owns the software, interface, diagnostic framework and related materials. Subject to these Terms, you may use and share reports generated for your submitted products for your internal business purposes. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or use the service to build a competing dataset or product except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.
9. Availability and account action
We may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security harm, legal violations or non-payment. We will handle remaining paid access and refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service and reports are provided on an “as available” basis. MC Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profit, lost revenue or decisions made in reliance on changing third-party AI or search outputs. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. Questions may be sent to hello@mclab.party.
